UDC Memorial Stained Glass Window
Memorial stained glass window dedicated to the memory of the Confederate soldiers from Alabama who fought in the War. Dedicated in the 1920's, this window was originally in the main library on campus, but was relocated several times. It is now located in Mary Harmon Bryant Hall on the UA Campus. It is part of the W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library, on the second floor of the building. The window is visible from the street, but you have to go inside to see it up close.
It took me and a friend several hours of walking around campus to track down the location of this window, which was mentioned in a campus guidebook. The University does not do much to promote anything related to Confederate heritage.
